On this day, 2 years ago; I preached my first sermon in the pulpit. God has been preparing me for ministry since 2008/2009 but some folks still treat me like I was/am some lightweight. People look at the outer appearance! God looks at the heart!
Folks say well she doesn’t whoop, she doesn’t holler. Where in the Bible does it show or say that’s a requirement? I’ll wait…..🤔🤔🤔
My take on that is #1 is that the Holy Spirit that makes you whoop and holler? #2 I’m not called to be like everyone else! If everyone is doing it; I don’t want it!!
I want to be authentic!! I want the Holy Spirit to fall on me!! Rest on me!! Speak through me!!
What the Bible does say is this:
“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4: 1-5 (NKJV)
Y’all can have the whoop and that hollering!! I want to do God’s will!! His way!!
He hasn’t called me to preach, teach or speak no feel good messages!! No sugar coated messages!! I’m not trying to entertain or please the people!!
I want to get His people Healed, Delivered and Set Free!! Ain’t no time for games! Ain’t no time for being in competition with nobody!! Ain’t no time to out preach nobody! Ain’t no time for straddling the fence!! You’re either in or you’re out!!
I’m all in for GOD!! For His Kingdom!! It’s either His way or the highway!!
I’ve been talked about! Lied on!! Beat down! Used! Abused!!! But guess what??
I’m never walking away from God or who He has called, anointed, appointed crushed, pruned, processed and chosen me to be!!
Father God!! I thank you for all you’ve already done! Everything you’ve already set in motion!! You have full access and I continue to allow you to Have Your Way!! Use Me…💙💜🤍
